Kurt Schmoke, Yale Medal Winner

CORRECTION: This month's newsletter celebrated Kurt Schmoke but mistakenly listed him as the first African-American to be named to the Yale Corporation. Judge Leon Higginbotham (1970) and Marian Wright Edelman (1971) paved the way in the early 70s. They were among our heroes and role models as part of the class of corporation members. https://www.yale.edu/board-trustees/former-trustees
